my Ebay account was hacked!!!!

around 6 am these guys hacked my Ebay account and began sending out emails to other ebay members to sell their shit

I am going to post their addys all over the web today, hopefully one good turn deserves another.
I spent the morning changing all my passwords to every account I have, virus sweeping my computers, the whole magilla!
I really hope I find a way to pay these assholes back for the aggrivation they caused, and of course passing along their web addy to a few hac-oops, programmer buddies of mine was first on my agenda this morning.

and no, I didnt respond to any phishing emails, or anything of the sort

Yeah, Ebay has had quite a few hacks in the last few weeks, and not just from phishing/trojans. Ebay itself has had a lot of its security compromised. Let me dig up some of the news on it.

Same here, bro. When I was in high school I wrote a random alphanumeric password generator for my TI-89 (yeah, I was a comp sci geek). I have separate 10 digit alphanumeric passwords for all my important stuff. I'm just really good at remembering these things.
