my egnater tweaker 40 crapped out :(

i was playing my egnater tweaker 40, made a loud buzzing noise and stopped working.
i unplugged all pedals, turned it on, all i hear is buzzing. the 6l6 tubes (ruby's)
are glowing red on stndby and blue on play position.

bythe way, only have had it 2 mos...

Bad tube. It happens. My wife's bass amp did the same thing several times when we first got it. We traced it down to a bad power tube. Easy fix, still frustrating.

'twas a bad tube indeed.
Nate from egnater emailed me with troubleshooting tip.
Remove one power tube at a time,
Time for new tubes, sed 6l6 winged c are in my Xhairs.
Now I have a diagram of tp's and trim pot,
My friends tweaker 15, stopped working about 6 mos ago
I hooked him up with some tung sol's 6v6s,
What a difference in tone.
I personally not a big fan of ruby's,
I must admit though, they sound very good.

Egnater gives 90 days on tubes. If you have only had it for two months, they should replace them for you.

Thanks, sweetwater sent me a pair of GT 6l6
Tubes in, amp biased
Rocking out again.
Bytheway GT 6L6 are better tubes IMO compared to the ruby's.
Well sound better to my ears
