awesome tone, man! is the amp a 50 or 100 watter? the friedman BE mod has such "classic" mids to it and they sound sweet at ALL volume levels...love em

It's the 50 watter. It really does sound great really low, with nice thumpy low end. Most amps sound weak and thin at low volumes.

I'm also digging the sat switch with dual positions. Position 2 adds highs, and really makes the amp sparkle while adding gain to the already great BE tone. Can't wait to buy the Holy Grail Nano reverb pedal and try it with this beast!

One note: The Charvel I used in this and my other video has a Duncan Screamin Demon pickup, which will be replaced in the near future. That pickup has reduced high end, causing the amp to sound a little muffled in the demo videos. I'll never sound like Pete, but the amp can sound WAY better than it does here.

oooh! a SAT switch with dual-positions,huh? havent heard of that one before.cool! so one position is just the std saturation mode and the other position adds "highs"? neat.

My amp came with a pentode/triode switch that Dave un-did, and used the switch for the SAT, and maybe since it is a 3 way switch, Dave got experimental and added a second SAT voice?
