Obviously nothing more than a 30 minuet Sweetwater infomercial and a bunch of product plugs. I did actually LOL at Kyle's expression when they said what kind of rig they were building. The this will be fun but oh shit I have no clue what I'm doing laugh.
Congrats to him though that he's been able to expand his hobby into a career and get invited to do things like this.

The hobby into a career says it all about social media

They need to make this a cage match kinda thing; any rig builder in L.A./Nashville vs. Mason from Vertex.

Sure, it’s all about directing traffic to Sweetwater. But I can tune that aspect of it out and just enjoy guys having to put some gear together and see footage of a shit ton of guitars, etc. if I’m choosing between The Bachelor and some cooking show, I’m picking this. It’s just a harmless diversion that’s a nice change from the ocean of “review” and demo video’s on YouTube.

Thanks man, genuinely appreciate that. People can say what they want but at the end of the day, I get to play with gear for a living and that's pretty alright with me

Fuck yeah man, good on you. As someone that's been lucky enough to pursue and catch their dream, I feel like it puts you in rarefied air. Enjoy the ride!

I thought it was fun, reminds me of the old Discovery bike buildoffs and the weapons blacksmith competitions.

That Mesa surprised me. For country, I'd go for a hollow body Gretsch, white and gold, with a bigsby, the three filtertron model.

It's always good to see fellow RT brethren succeeding.

Not many people get to migrate from hobby to passion and into a career. It's unfortunate that youtube has turned into a haven for those who couldn't make it in their chosen profession & this was a last resort **cough, cough Glenn Fricker cough**. But it doesn't take long to spot those people, especially when they constantly churn out click bait material only for the views. Either that or they're just going through the motions with yet another "glowing" review of the latest product to keep the sponsorship money flowing whether they like the gear or not.

It can be just as easy to pick out those who who are doing it because the got the golden opportunity and actually enjoy what they're doing. Since you're on the other side of the camera you may not notice it in yourself, but your enthusiasm comes through. It's easy to tell when you're enjoying an amp; you have a grin on your face, or not so much with a meh face. And it all comes off as honest because your feedback lines up with your expressions.

I just want to hear “Perfecto’s”
country inversions & extensions.
I saw him give us that wranglin’ hand jiggle’
-he know’s the cuts.
Homeboy’s gonna light it up.
