Hi,
Just a couple of pics of my Laney Rig.
I've been using GH100L's since the came out and previously I was using AOR50's by Laney.
Really great underrated amps.

I power mine with 6L6 Winged C's. They clean up really well and give the amp some bottom end chunk!

I use a TC GM2 in the loop for channel switching and lead boost. So I manage to get 3 channels out out a single channel amp.
The clean is a a dirty clean but it suits me and I can roll back the volume to clean it up more if needed.
I have never used OD pedals to drive my amps. Just crank and dial :-)

Inuse a simple Roland FC50 as a midi Foot controller, it's small enough to fit in the back of the flightcase so I don't forget it!

I recently acquired a Dunlop Rack wah which I absolutely love. I use the auto return control pedal as I hate the "is it on or off" switches on the normal wahs.

I use my ancient Marshall 4x12 for bigger gigs or my Framus 2x12 for small gigs.
Marshall is loaded with 2x V30's and 2x Greenbacks. The Framus has V30's.

A really great little reliable rig.

I have 2 RG2610's and a beat up RG565 all with EMG's and use Line6 Relay30 wireless which is just awesome.

Looks great, who makes the amp head case. Been looking for a small case w/ 3-4 rackspace like that.

Dirt simple and nothing complicated or over the top, i bet you get alot of use out of this awsome rig. thanks for sharing. I loved the GH100TI that i played

Welcome aboard

Love it man! Here's another one:

The pedal board is not pictured as I'm currently re-arranging things. In the end it will be a simple board with a TC Flashback Delay, Hardwire Chorus, Hardwire CM2 Overdrive, MXR EQ, Ernie Ball Volume Pedal, and Boss NS-2 and TU-2. I love the VH100R.........very versatile for my needs.

Yep,I always try and keep it simple. I even have a cable running from the rack wah "Thru Out" to a Tu2 tuner. It also can be used as a guitar cable backup if the wireless packs up mid set.

I love the VH100R.....

They are seriously underrated like most Laney amps.

I love mine. The foot switchable drive modes on each channel make the amp function like it has four channels. It covers quite a wide range of tones. I've been wanting to try the GH100 for quite some time as I love the British flavor of these amps. When a deal for the VH100R presented itself, I took the plunge and have not been disappointed. Like you I like keeping things simple.

Nice rig... I am getting to like Laney's more and more and there is a guy who is selling an AOR for a decent price locally too. They also have some sweet spots in the tone catagory with me too... Can you put some sound links of yours?

Your rig is killer dude. Clean, straightforward and effective.

My GH50L is a real sleeper. So loud and crazy high gain and crunch tones.
I run my mine pretty simple too, although I always use a boost for my main high gain rhythm sound.
I put the amps gain at half and have the drive boost function on and set it a bit higher to 6-7.
I like the high gain tones better like this way rather than just a using a higher gain setting on the amps dials. You end up getting the same amount of gain either way, but when boosted it's just clearer and tighter.
It's great for so many metal tones for a single channel amp. You can easily get tones varying from Dimebag to, KSE to, Maiden to AC/DC. etc.
I think I prefer 6L6's in the amp, so I use those now. Mesa 5881's (basically Sovtek's) A mix of JJ's and EH's in the pre.

Hope this link works http://m.soundcloud.com/dan-ranger/in-my-name

It's a pretty old and the mix is pretty iffy but you can get the idea of the tone of a straight GH100L. I'll do a video of my rig and some of the tones I get from it in the new year.
I play in D standard and Dropped C these days but the Laney takes it all in it's stride.

Thanks for all the comments guys :)

Catch you all in 2012 with some vids.

you know i have never even tried a laney... that will have to change. sweet pics!

What surprises me is that anyone can pickup a Laney for a decent price too. I see them often and for what looks like a very fair price.
