It’s done in layers. First layer is the lightest color, next layer I did antique parchment. The images are put on with a technique called decoupage. Then more colors are added to blend in the images and then color over the top of the images to give it a weathered and blurred look. Then you use a fine tip paint marker to add back in some detail so that it pops.
