I really wanted a two hum white Charvel or a Pacer but have no interest in the new $299 Indonesian offering from Kramer (Gibson)
I already had a NOS Kramer Pacer body from the USA reissue run they did a few years back, so I sourced the best stuff I could find and built my own.

Alder body made in TN.
Schaller Trem (MIG)
Duncan JB in the bridge
Schaller neck p/u
Schaller tuners
CTS pots
Birdseye maple neck w/ asymetrical profile from Jamerson (Musikraft)

Here it is mocked up

It sounds and plays excellent. I'm really happy with it. I never cared for two tone controls so I wired the middle control as a volume control for the neck pickup so both pickups can be blended when the switch is in the middle position and the other is an overall tone control.

Besides the giant ladybug humping your boot, everything looks great!

And yes that JB is thee prized Rig-Talk Turkey Day Giveaway JB that I won right here and it is being put to good use.

Those Musikraft necks are the shit. I have two of the San Dimas style on a couple of Jackson bodies and they play like butter. Love your mutt

What's with the baby blue in the second pic?

That's gray primer.Just the lighting making it look blue.

yea the neck is definitely the highlight for me.

Nice!

Musikraft neck's are hard to beat. I've got a birdseye maple one on my Tele, I was really surprised a the quality when I got it.
