H3000 Factory NATIVE!!! Plugin

I was a SoundBlender freak when I had a TDM system and I moved to Logic and a Native system because the hardware upgrades were killing me. I've begged Sound Toys to make a Native version of SoundBlender, but they said it was impossible. So today, I find out the actual Eventide H3000 Factory is now available Native as of late last year. Picked it up today and got the Blackhole reverb plugin ($199 value) FREE! I couldn't be happier!

Stereo Micropitchshift and delay for my guitars! Yay!!!!

Now why didn't one of you guys inform me of this before now? I blame ALL of you! :lol: :LOL:

It's Eventide algorithms, so I know it's got to sound fantastic. Can you comment on how much of a CPU hog it is? (or isn't)

At one point I started researching FFT's and the VST SDK because I was going to attempt to write a plugin. :lol: :LOL:

It doesn't work that way. You can download it a million times or just save the DMG file that downloads - you have it permanently. You also authorize to an iLOK to use it that you can use on any machine that has the plugin installed....

Now here is the ANNOYING rub for me. I have the iLOK 1. I just found out the H3000 plugin requires the iLOK 2. So now, I have to shell out ~ $50 to get the iLOK 2 dongle and I have to wait for the friggin' thing to be delivered to use the plugin. The iLOK 2 allows you to store more authorizations and a few other things, but for me the new features are useless (I don't have > 500 iLOK authorixed plugins ferchrissakes!) and I still have to pay for it to use my new plugin. Just a way for the iLOK people to get their pound of flesh from you. Plus I can't use the plugin until it shows up as I mentioned! Pisses me off! :gethim:

Strange, when I was on the Eventide site yesterday I saw the iLOK dongle on sale for like $16, but can't find it now.

I don't know what you saw, but it is $45+ everywhere else. Maybe iLOK 1, maybe an old page, maybe an offer with another purchase? I dunno, but they are nowhere near $16 anywhere I've seen...

Too late for me anyway if I'm wrong... :aww:

It showed a list price of $35-$45 and was on sale. Oh well!
