My Live Kazoo Rig

I have a custom mahogany dual membrane kazoo with rosewood caps. One caps points at my vocal mic for some natural bleed. One uses a Kazoobie "Hummbucker" pickup run into my pedalboard. I use an Electro Harmonix Pitchfork for harmonies, and a Zcat Delay/Reverb. From there, it goes back to a Barcus Berry Preamp for some flavor. I run a DI split to my IEMs and the XLR to FOH.

Is that too much for a kazoo?

I've been thinking of upgrading my preamp from the Barcus Berry. What acoustic preamp/DI pedals would work good for a kazoo?
