First of all...

Now, I was going to have the edges done with a burst but now kinda thinking to not...

Thoughts? And yes, this is possibly the only faded denim V in the world. I have looked all over the interweb before committing to the color and couldn't find ONE! Some may hate it but I am STOKED!

First off, huge V guy here, and that V is THE TITS!!! No burst. It would be too busy with the colored stringers that you've got going on. IMO it would look better if the blue jean was much more pronounced and less faded. Either way, awesome axe and congrats!

Not much for Vs personally..
but the finish on yours is unique and looks great as is.

It’s hard to come up with something original that looks that good.

Yeah +1 - No burst. Looks killer as is.
I wouldn't mind seeing the faded blue just a little deeper in color, but it could just be the glare from the way the pic was shot making it look lighter than it really is.
Anyhow, great looking axe

Thanks guys. He’s going to do another pass of blue and then sand back again so the blue will definitely get a bit deeper. Likely no burst.

I am SO excited for this guitar! Definitely definitely unique. It will have a satin finish all over. I really like the idea of this kind of distressed looking finish with satin on such a pointy modern Guitar.

Here’s the next coat of blue to get more pop in the grain. He’s sanding back to get the Faded look. He’ll keep the burst so I can decide after seeing it but says it’s easy enough to sand the burst off and doesn’t mind the extra step!
