This morning my new Diezel Einstein 100 Head finallyarrived!!!

I´ve been so much impatient at last, and I am so sorry for that. But yesterday evening I played a Gig, so I was really looking forward to play it live! UPS took 2 days to deliver, this can happen, of course! :gethim: Well, next saturday it will be great! Diezel head and Cab live on stage the first time.

I played the Eini 2 hours today, I took my pedals and stuff like my "wireless" Guitar transmitter and checked it out. I really enjoyed this ´cause of its fantastic tone and its awsome playing. I played a Marshall JCM 900 last week, because my Engl Blackmore has been at service, to compare his tone to the Einstein I have to say: ridiculous.

So yersterday I played my Blackie, but in the future I will mostly play Einstein, it is versatile and gives me all that tones I love: Crunch, Leads, big Rhythm-sounds, all that chunky stuff I liked from my Blackie. Channel 1 Mode 2 is like the Marshall I ever wanted. If I want cleans, I just put down the volume of my Guitar!

I would like to record some samples with the comp. Out! Can I used it like this: simple Guitar-Cable out to Input of my Interface? I don´t need a box as load, right? Or should i use a Speaker-Cable?

@ Peter Diezel: thank you for this Amp! And for your friendly way! The same for Peter S.: you helped me a LOT!
And of course I would like to thank Lars for service and Informations! And everyone else at Diezel!
Yours, Volkair

Congratulations on an awesome amp and welcome to the family

You should use a simple guitar cable from the direct out, but don't forget to keep the speaker connected ;)
Don't expect great results though, I haven't been impressed at all with the direct out sounds.

But according to C-4, it's on par with a Neumann U87? I had to look twice when he said that in a previous post. There is no way. I've used one of those in the studio and there is no comparison. It's really not meant to do that. It's a compensated out.

I'm in agreement with you.

What I do is run it into my interface and then use some of the great cabinet impulses that are out there. Works great and sounds even better!

Du hast Email

Danke!!! Tested it yesterday evening, has been pretty well.
But the PA-Masterman himself wasn´t in the mood to use it, instead he miked the V30 and didn´t feed it in the mix...WHY????
:gethim:

But my Einstein did his job very well. But now i really have to learn playing the guitar again, because he answered all my mistakes in a merciless way :aww: , but i really like this tight and direct reaction.
The Einstein is definitly the way aggressive that I want and like!

Hey, I know what you mean

Diezels produce what comes out of your fingers and dont hide everything.
I will also have to relearn a few things, but thats part of the game and hopefully makes me a better player

You´re right! I would be an idiot if I only improve my Equipment!
So get it on....

:rawk: WELCOME!!!

Einstein is always that one amp I know one day I'll add to my repertoire... Just because.

Congratz!

I just got an email from James at Diezel UK inviting me to his place in London to try out the entire Diezel range. Which means by the end of the year I should have a Diezel too.

I just tracked a whole album using a Behringer GI, without speaker simulator, and Redwirez impulses. Sounds fenomenal!
