I just got an ESP E-II Eclipse with Duncan passive pup's.
Nice guitar. I DON'T like the auto locking Gotoh tuners. I'm removing them on next string change and replacing with Planet Waves locking tuners. The PW's are awesome tuners and very smooth.

It's nice guitar for LP type tones and playing.
But, I have to say my Schecter C1 Classic neck-through gives up nothing to the ESP.
In terms of build quality and finish the Schecter is right up there and costs a bit less.
The gold hardware on my C1 is not the most durable, but the quality of wood, neck, frets, finish is right up there with the ESP.

Take a look at the Schecter Hellraiser Extreme C1.
It's a neck through, which I really like.
My C1 classic has a bit thicker tone than the ESP, and the C1 has more sustain, likely due to the neck through design.
The pup's in my C1 and ESP are both Duncan JB in the Bridge and Jazz and '59 in the neck.

The C1 can get a lower action and feels a bit better.
I still like my ESP, especially since I wanted a shorter scale 24.75" LP style guitar.

C1 Extreme sells for around $1000, no case.
My ESP E-II Eclipse was $1250 and includes a case. Typically retails for $1499.
So, they are very close in price if you get a deal.
If you go with the ESP E-II with active pup's the price is about $200 more, $1699.
For that you get active pups, quilted maple top, and locking bridge and tailpiece.

I prefer the passive pup's, obviously. :)

If you want great quality, active pup's, neck through design, and low price,
then you really need to check out the Schecter.

I have jackson rr1 with the same PU u have. great stuff. love them

Obviously, I like that Schecter body style.
But, you have to like it or it's not good.

My buddy has a Gibson "Golden Axe" Explorer.
Beautiful looking guitar.
It has Lace HB pup's and he says it sounds and plays great.

If you're interested send me a private message and I'll give you the info.
It's not a low cost guitar, but it's a 2013 model.

Unfortunately, a neck-through design is usually nets a premium in price, so to get a neck through and low price you'd have to go used.

Another option is ESP LTD. Yes, the LTD's are not Japanese made, but the quality is still excellent in my experience.
The majority of LTD's are high quality made. There's better attention to detail from LTD in S. Korea than much of what Gibson puts out.

For a good bit under $1000 you can get a set neck, mahogany body, maple top, and great hardware, and they play beautifully.
Just get a good set up and some LTD's easily compare to their ESP's.
In fact, many LTD's get better hardware and better looking tops than some ESP's and cost less.

My new 2014 ESP Eclipse is really nice, but a lower cost LTD Eclipse has better tuners, nicer quilted tops, and locking tail and bridge pieces. You may even prefer the neck radius on an LTD vs ESP. LTD radius feels a bit flatter and for me the necks feel a bit faster.
LTD EC1000 is a great guitar. Sometimes they overdo it with the fancy binding and at all, but it's a solid guitar with great feel and easy to play if you like a fast neck.
If you want a cosmetically less ornate model the EC407 or EC401 is pretty much the same guitar, same woods, same neck, just less ornate and lower cost too.
