I'm not really into compression, but I like tightness and versatility.
As such, I think that the VH-4 is a great amp and nothing sounds like it.
It's easy for me to see why some don't like it, but I'm certainly not in any rush to get rid of mine (unless someone's got a Herbert for me to try out :rock: )
 
VH4 is one of the finest tube amps I've had the pleasure of playing. I LOVE channel 3! It's just one of those tones that should be considered a modern benchmark among heavy guitar tones.
 
I used to love Channel 3 on my 99 and 00 VH4's but now all four channels are perfect.

this amp simply smokes! as do also other diezel amps like herbert or einstein!!!

The VH4 sounds really good, infact.... almost as good as the Herbert. :D
 
I just recently played 2 vh4's and they kicked major booty!!!!!!! :yes: :yes:

The dizeal amp is by far the most blows fromadd ass sounding amp i have ever played from the cleans to the most earthshaking distortion tones this amp is fucking amazing :rock:

the VH4 has been my amp for 6 years now!
I never even think about other amps now
she is the only one on my mind..
I will be buried with her.
