I'm surprised you didn't mention Peter Frampton in your list.

Why would anyone question Rik Emmett's inclusion? He's awesome.

That being said, I kinda question the Apriil Wine guys. I'm surprised you picked them over The Stampeders.

Rik Emmett is my uncle. Inside joke.

Well hell,14 out of 15 ain't bad!

Ace Frehley - Not a fretboard gymnast but knew how to play for the song and bring the rock and roll. Inspired many to pick up a guitar.

Angus!!! How can the man of so many legendary riffs not be a top guitar player!! I would bet more strippers have shaken naked ass to AC/DC than any other rock band.

Hey, have any of you brothers heard of a group called Led Zeppelin?

'cause not one of you sad sacks saw fit to list Jimmy Page, one of the sloppiest, yet most influential guitar players (not counting that clip I posted of myself in the other thread) of all time.

That's shocking and you should be hanging your head in shame right now.

Thread didn't ask for most influential,
instead personal favs. Love Zep and Page,
but not in my top 20.
Didn't see Jimi up there either, but no
big deal. He was, with out a doubt, the
most influential guitar player of all time,
but not my fav.

Well tell your uncle I want my money back. I bought his instructional VHS tape when I was a kid. And it just cuts of mid sentence at the end of the tape. What's up with that!? (Otherwise a cool tape)
