Hello!
I just picked up a Schmidt to keep my VH4 company. The reviews were not kidding. This thing sounds glorious. Actually has a ton more gain than I had anticipated, although not quite as tight as the VH4 obviously.
The clean channel is stunning. So 'chimey' and perfect!
I'm going to be using this amp in a smaller room in my house. I bought a couple of JJ 6v6s tubes to quiet things down a bit. I've only been inside my VH4 once, for a tube change. Any tips for getting into the Schmidt?
