i wear a helmet in the dirt, but don't think i would on the street? just loose so much peripheral vision.


i'm big time proponent for any kind of gear that protects against abrasions though. leathers etc.


though guess i know a dude that could of used a helmet. he took a spill with his old lady on back and she landed on him and ground his ear off while they were sliding on the pavement!

in Oregon, a helmet is required, but all my friends and I wear novelty helmets, basically like not wearing a helmet at all
