Thanks. Im really impressed with the 6L6s. I usually prefer E34Ls but this amp is perfect. Best amp I ever owned. :rawk:

Man that white tolex is absolutely KILLER! Love it.

The Red Channel is beyond ridiculously good on that amp.

Enjoy!

If you try to order a head or cab from Mojo there sample that matches this is actually Ivory and not white. Just for anyone interested.

Now should I get a matching head shell for my Uber?

I just played an hour 45 minutes on the Bog and... and... and... and... AHHH! :inlove: Went from Zep on the Blue channel to Some heavy metal, old Metallica seek and destroy, Enter Sand Man to Crazy Train to some heavy cord progressions with Zack type harmonics . Then hit the Clean channel and did 45 minutes more of really great blues. I wish I had this 20 years ago. :worship: My own tone  :worship: WOW!!!!!! Damn its already 1:30pm :D

Dont miss them on this amp. She is PERFECT. Paired with the Matching 4x12 cab V30's it all goes together so well. You would have to play it to understand.

Does your amp have the boost on the plexi channel?
Just curious because the early ones didn't have it and are a different circuit than the ones with the boost.

Thats the new circuit, mine didn't have the boost it was old circuit. Its on the way back from Bogner I had the new circuit put in and el34's. Probably wouldnt have sent it there if I didn't think boost was broken. The 6l6 gets good el34 grunt

Uber added. :D Will take better pics in the morning. Spent the evening adding the final pieces to the rack and wiring it up. Sorry for the grainy cell phone pic. I havent even had a chance to play it. :(

Alright man, looks awesome... I'm going to start a thread with this same question, but what's the difference between the 20th Anni version and the latest 101B version? I mean, the 101B comes with EL34's but those can be swapped over to 6L6's pretty easily. Both can have A/AB switch... So aside from some NOS capacitors and white tolex, what's the difference?

I'm looking into a new XTC, either the 20th or the latest 101B - running it through either my UberKab or getting a matching OS 2x12 with V30/G75T or all Celestion Gold Alnico.

Would love to hear your take on these questions...

Thanks,
V.

I can tell you that both the Bogs I have prefer bright speakers. They get fairly bassy on the V30s. From what I can tell on low volumes with the XTC it seems thick and bassy but crank it up to 9 o'clock and above and she is like an Angle spreading he wings and taking flight. Really opens up. I Tried the Uber cause I couldnt wait til morning but had to keep the vol low. It has a lot of bass with the Bass knob barely on. I have a feeling that when I open her up it will be like the xtc. Ch1 had a clean more highs and Bass with less mids, kinda pristine. Rolling the Mid knob up brought in more bass thump. Ch 2 went from 0 to F'n Bitch   I just played around with it a little but seemed like it cleaned up like rock blues to Insane. I really need a day this week when the neighbors are at work and no one is home.

I also have the JC settings for an Uber so I might give that a try Saturday. :D I also have to finish wiring up my rack, straighten my power cords, Program my GCP with the RJM after I find a 7 pin midi cable, damn GC has to order them so I will just use Musicians Friends and order a bunch of stuff and should have it all by wednesday.
