NAD and belated NCD - 5150 and Fatbottom content

Just picked up this 5150 in a partial trade. It's a block letter with a bias mod done already. Sounds killer! Also picked up this Fryette FB212 a couple weeks back and just got around to updating the badge to the Fryette logo. Not sure if I like it more than my Recto 2x12 yet, so we'll see...I need to get a 5150 logo at some point too, they don't seem very plentiful though!

 
How do the the Fatbottom and Recto cabs compare? I have a Fatbottom, but I've never tried the Recto cab.

I haven't put them side by side to really figure everything out, but my initial impressions after playing the Recto for years and now playing this are these: The FB seems stiffer and clearer where the Recto gives a little more and sounds a bit bigger maybe. The Recto cab also seems to break up a little bit in that high mid spike people talk about the V30s having. That's just my initial impressions. The FB does seem extremely clear sounding.
 
they're great heads...and super cheap. you get a lot of tone for the money.

i love modding them!
