It is complete, and will be in my possession on Thursday. It is a "modernized" take on the Silver Jubilee. John @ StoneAge Cabinets did a great job on the headshell, and had to modify it a bit to fit the 100W transformers. But..here it is...and what it looks like.

Trace @ Voodoo Amps ended up modifying the wiring a bit to make it more correct to what a Silver Jubilee really was, and added a couple additional controls to it. The changes he did were:

Presence: Pushed in is stock, which has a bigger, looser bottom end and a bit warmer top end. Pulled out, tightens the bottom end up, and makes it a bit brighter. GIves you best of both worlds!!!

Bottom: Mainly to be used when the presence is pulled out (brighter mode). Adds a different tighter low end to the amp.

Trace installed the Mercury Magnetics power / output transformers and choke, and replaced the filter caps with higher end, better sounding filter caps.

I'll be using SED =C= EL34s...and chinese 12ax7a's in there.

I'm super stoked!!!!

Stone Age cabs is about 15 minutes from my house. I really need to go there and check out what he has got going on.

Hear alot of good things about his work.

That looks BADASS!!! congrats!

The PT100 I got to mess with at NAMM was SIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCKKKKKKK! One of these days I may have to acquire one.

Very nice!!!!!

So I guess the question is..............how close is it to the original?

Very nice. Very curious to see what you think. I hope you can make a clip.

My Silver Jubilee 2553 has an extra volume knob on the back for the clean mode. It really helps balance the volume when I footswitch between the channels. I am sure you can have that added if you want to later....

clips will be coming as soon as I get it and get it dialed in. I know it won't sound exactly like the originals I've had. But that's not exactly what I was going for. I was going for a modernized jubilee with a couple new features but with the tone lineage from the jubilees

What speakers are you going with for your cabs? I just clicked the link for the pictures and the cabs loop sweet.

the 2x12 will have scumback 100w m75 and h75 combos.

The 4x12 will have 4 65w scumback m75s. I really dig the cabs from John. I can't wait!! :)

You are not helping my GAS with all this talk of NEW STONE AGE CABS!!

cool man, looking forward to clips! I been thinking about pulling the trigger on Ceriatone's 2550.

Nice looking amp! The 2550 that I had is the only Marshall that I wish I still owned.

Well here you guys go!!!! Here are 2 youtube video clips of the amp! It was DEFINITELY worth the long wait for the amp. I absolutely LOVE it!

This is Ceriatone Jubilee Series 2555 chassis (bought with no output / power transformers and choke). I had Trace @ Voodoo Amps put in Mercury Magnetics output / power transformers and choke, and he put in F&T filter caps, and made a few changes to the circuit. He added a push / pull pot to the presence circuit so pulled out, it is a stock Jubilee presence knob. Pushed in, it dumps a bit of the low end, and makes it tighter and a bit brighter on the top end. He also added a bottom circuit to it, with a push / pull pot, which varies the amount of low end the bottom circuit adds. Both additions really add to the versatility of the amp. It's an AMAZING sounding amp. Definitely glad I had it built!!!
