Hello !

After several years of lurking, hesitations, regrets... I finally pulled the trigger and got myself a brand new Hagen

The first feedback is really good, I first testing it last evening while being tired, it was not the best conditions... very low quality playing, tired ears... This morning it was muuuuuch better, I'm starting to find the tone I have in my head on channels 3 & 4 for some thrashy rhythm and poor lead skills. I completely overlook the first channel, seems OK 'til now, I'll try it more deeply later. The big surprise is the channel 2, I think my plan of getting a Marshally amp is revoked, it is a really nice surprise.

In any case, the sound in the room is waaaaay better than on the vidz, they give a good idea of the amp's capability, but it's clearly something else "live".

This test was done at 11 PM and 7 AM at my flat so I couldn't crank the volume  After a bit of toying with the MV and the channel volumes it's OK, I need more practice on that. I also need more practice on my playing :D The amp is actually quite easy to play, but every mistake jump on you like a facehugger. Hey, that's for a good cause !

So, so far, I'm in love. Unfortunately I won;t be home this week-end  but I'll update this small review ASAP.

Reiep, glad to be in the Diezel family

THAT is a beauty set up man!! Is that Diezel 2x12 cab? Hard to tell from the picture's perspective.

Otherwise, mega congrats!! I'm a huuuuuuuge fan of these. HUGE fan!! Glad you're lovin' it. The Hagen was a Diezel game-changer for me. Didn't think it could better than the tried and trusted VH4, and then KABOOM, along comes the Hagen

Peace,
Mojo

Congrats! I def. want one of those to go along with my Herbie:) I like your bar behind the amp/cab as well...

Congrads !!! Took my Hagen to an amp fest last weekend. N went home knowing its still number 1 to me

Thanks guys

It's my furat tube amp after all these years using digital modeling, so maybe I'll need a bit of your knowledge here and there.

That's a beast, but I found out that the Hagen gives all its potential after around 25-30 minutes of playing, is that the same for you ?

@Ventura : that the 2x12 FL V30 which is really big.

I'm now 200 km from my dear Haggie, guess where I'd prefer to be ? :aww:

i would love to see diezel do a modular amp where you could buy the vh4 pre and so on like randall did.

It was suggested to Peter in the Diezel forum, let's see what happens ;)

Thanks, it's for me to warm up while the amp warms up too on standby... and a little reminder of my homeland with some "traditional" stuff

Ya no kidding, I guess it's along the same mentality as the Bogner OS212. I just think it looks nice and tight with the 2x12... Perfect size.

Peace,
Mo

I have Hagen & 2X12 too. At first, it was all about channels 3 and 4; however, I have come to appreciate 1 & 2 a lot

Enjoy
