So I had a Diezel Hagen for about 6 or 7 years and loved it. Went through a period where I didn't play it too much and traded it away. About a month later I completely regretted it and hated myself for being so stupid. That was about 5 years ago. I have periodically looked for another one but timing was never right when they popped up. Been seriously on the hunt for about 2 months. Finally a brand new one popped up on Reverb from ProStar Audio, checking out their website as a new customer I could get 15% off, so pulled the trigger. Bought it Thursday, it arrived today (Saturday) at 9:00am.

Just bliss, total bliss. I missed this amp so much, sounds fucking fantastic !!!

Fresh unboxing on near the front door

At home with it's brothers in arms, not shown are the KRS Artemis (race based) and the Synergy gear (rack based)

New room is coming together nicely, but not done yet

Finally got tired of swapping pedals and wired all my favorite OD's to a switcher. Griffen Rig-Talk special alert !!

And for post-effects...

These are just now getting on my radar even though they’ve been around for a while. They’re so balanced sonically and I just didn’t see it until all of the newest amps out today.

Does it have a recto quality in the room at all or is it unique?

Amazing room vibe you’ve built and HNAD!!

That’s the next amp I’m buying, 100%. Been on my radar for years, but I needed to try the VH4 first. I think the Hagen is better suited for what I do (low tuned metal). Post some clips if you can, there’s almost zero info about these out there.

No recto vibe…

Never owned a Recto, but playing them, I would not say its Recto. It has a low end thump to it but still tight if that makes sense. Hitting it with an EQ & OD in front and it just sizzles in such a good way. I suck at adjectives...but it just satisfies. Everything sounds mean and pissed.

Yeah, I plan at some point to do some clips and post them for fun, just not enough hours in the day...

Loved my Hagen...But for me the VH4 edged it out and coulld not justify keeping both. Great amp...Big congrats brother.
