I got the half stack Thursday. I'm really digging it. LOVED my 50 watt until I played them back to back. If you want it, it has stoopid levels of Uberschall like bass but of course can be dialed back to sound like a regular 5153. My initial impressions are that the Blue and Red channels seem tighter, deeper and more 3D sounding. Also more gain than anyone could ever need just like the regular 50 and 100 watt heads.

So it seems like a great amp for the money then overall. That blue channel sounded great.
And knowing the Brutal channel is still there makes it more appealing.

Green & Blue sounded great. I can hear the re-voiced mids in the blue channel & obviously the extra gain. Sounds nice & tight.

Now how's about some hellfire from the red channel.....

They only made 30 of these .... they came out awhile ago but they were ridiculous expensive. I found one New Old Stock and sold my Reb Beach Ibanez Voyager to fund it. Worth every penny....killer axe!

That's great you got to see them in Vegas. Have you heard they are going to do another residency in Vegas for Pyromania? I'll pick up the blu ray on that one too.
