I've had my eyes out for one of these for a while. On paper and clips, it seemed like it could be the perfect presentation of Blackface-Marshall execution in one box.
For the 25 watt version made the most sense. With two EL34s and Blackbird and Olde 800 Mk II channels, it would be penty of amp for any gigs I play yet not so beastly that I couldn't enjoy it at home in my music room. It has a MV and three decade switch settings on the dirty side and reverb on both channels.
I found a wonderful specimen for sale an hour away from my (NJ). To add to an already awesome design, the tube compliment included a bunch of top notch NOS glass from Mullard, GE for the most part and the head and speaker cabinets (maple and walnut) are gorgeous. The WGS pair of speakers sounds great.
I hope to never buy a #1 amp ever again.
