I was able to talk the store down a bit more and they actually said yes so i grabbed it.
now if i just had a matching 2x12 cab.......

its just number 5 out of around 15 or so give or take. the amp is actually about 10 years old but had been at the distributor for most of that time. (leasing it out maybe)

I've got one like Billy Howerdel's first amp. It's a JMP 2203 with the 2 channel APC mod, which is what Dave calls it. I love that amp!
 
Congrats. The only other one I ever seen was in Japan. Make some clips please.

very smooth and very controllable when over driven with a keeley TS-9. And even then it is really pretty damn quiet. the presence on the amp is incredible and the interaction between the pre amp eq and the presence gives it a wide range of sound to dial in. so far so good. I will most likely end up running it mono with a separate pedal board in a straight forward set up a few effects in front of the amp eq, delay and such in the loop.

I am getting a new pedal board and David is making me a pedal board interface for the bogner/triaxis big rig so once thats done Ill spend more time with the naked. I only have a crappy digital cam that does audio but maybe ill try to do a video sometime this week.

Yea their tones on 13th step seem a little tamer than on their debut album, but it's funny because up until now I never really associated their tone to anything in specific and that's probably why... but after listening to it I can def hear the sound from Friedmans stuff in there, just the voicing is absolutely in line with some of the newer clips I've heard of his stuff... Whether or not the circuitry is even remotely similar I still hear the resemblance.

well this one is in Japan. about 10 got sent here although I have only heard of two of them this one and another one http://www.j-guitar.com/sp/sea/view_det ... d=18530116 that is still for sale. I think I got a real good deal on this one though..

I'll be in Tokyo next week and will be there for 10 days. We have 7 shows, let me know if you want to come check one out.

Can't wait to go to all the shops there, I am in Osaka now and have gone to a few here and they have been pretty cool but nothing like what I have heard about Tokyo.
