First, working with Dan was an absolute pleasure. He kept me up to date and was extremely polite and friendly in his emails. If you are wondering who to get to mod your JCM800 into a fire breathing beast, there is no better choice ihmo. Thanks so much Dan!

I've had her for about two weeks now, and today was the first time I could open her up a bit. There are so many options that anyone into Marshall tones can get "their sound" easily. I'm still fiddling with the tone, but this sounds pretty dang good to me.

Here's a vid taken with my new Ipad, flubs and all.

Guitar is a PRS Custom 24 with an Anderson H2+ in the bridge, plugged straight in, a little delay and chorus in the loop. Cab has V30's and Veteran 30's in an X pattern.

Sounds very familiar  Lovin my Kali for months now. Congrats on your Kali...and you are right. Dan is nothing but a class act and talented builder/modder   Still finding tones everyday with my amp. Reacts so well to eq changes and feel shifts. Cheers

Cory

HNAD! Dan's mods are legit and he is good people. Enjoy your new amp

Awesome! So with the Kali+ you basically can go the diode clipping route or get the extra Gina from an added tube gain stage? Can he do the kk+ mod on 50 watters also?

Sounds great! Me gusta!

Do you still have the foam baffling in the Bogner cab? Have you tried it without that stuff in there?

I don't think the KK has diode clipping, but it does have an added gain stage. That's what I'm using in the clip. Dan'll mod 50 waters, no problem.

Still have the foam padding. Don't have any plans on removing it. It sounds so good, I don't wanna mess with it. Well, other than maybe swapping out speakers at some point.

man it sounds so freakn good ..congrats brother ...jeez making me want one lol

Dan's going back together with mine. Should be ready soon. Added some switching options to it. Great throaty Marshall tone though. Nice clips and thanks for that.
