Had this amp for a while but just got it back with the Fortin DSL mod done and a choke installed. I got it cheap and in terrible shape, recovered it in white and did the clear front panel. Click the link for before/after pics, it was pretty hideous when I got it.
Kept it internally stock but I always wanted to change a few things about it which the Fortin mod does VERY well. Big thanks to Mike Fortin for posting the values on his mod in this thread, it is killer.
The amp now has a lot more low mid focus and clarity. The mod takes that harshness/thin highs out of the amp on the red channel, balances the bass response between the channels and makes the tone shift usable. Also thanks to Randy at Vintage Amp Repair, I wussed out and took it to him after seeing how close everything was packed on that double sided main PCB board. I've done a lot of soldering on guitars but have never done any amp work other than biasing tubes so I figured I better let a pro handle it and he did an awesome job. Clips will be forthcoming, been to busy enjoying it to make any yet.
Clips-
OD2 unboosted and green channel clean mode so you can hear how well the channels are balanced post-mod, reverb is from the amp's spring reverb on the clean stuff-

OD1 with HB-sized BG Pure 90's, switched to clean at the end again-

Green crunch mode going back and forth between the bridge and neck pups in each section. Starts with no boost, then boosted with a Dano transparent OD and then boosted with a Bad Monkey. Gets muddy with the Bad Monkey. I don't use that pedal much except to fatten up leads and with single coils but I had it so I used it-
