NAD Marshall 1959 SP '81 ½stack + PPI-MV question

I asked about a Marshall 2203 '77 the other day, but ended up buying this. It was a really good deal, I payed about $1000 in danish kroner.

A Marshall JCM 800 1959 Super Lead with matching cab loaded with G12-80 speakers - all from 1981.

It sounds real good!





It has a master volume installed to the right as you can see.





I was wondering if I would be better off with the PPI-MV from Metroamp?



I don't know much about master volumes.
