So this thing is pretty legit. Been looking for a smaller rig because old age is a bitch. Been intrigued for a while by these and finally got to demo both the SC and SV. Pretty much what you’d expect from a JCM 800 tone wise and fitting for the cock rock that I’m subjecting people to on the weekends. Also I think that it’s conservatively rated at 20 watts and will hang with the loudest of drummers.

Yeah. I have an old TS-9 from 1982. I also have a SD-1 from 1982. I’ll try that as well as a few other boosts tomorrow.

Great choice. You also have an FX-loop.

Boss SD1 in front and boost for high gain.

That was my main concern and wasn’t going to take the plunge before takeoff one for a test drive. It’s as advertised with no real surprises, just like a 2204.
