Congrats! I've only had a single rec, 7-8 years ago that I hated. Couldn't gel no matter what I did, or put in front of it. That said, some great tones are in these Recs and really some of my favorite have been recorded with them. I should give an old Dual Rec a try sometime. But first I'm waiting on a Mark 2C+ conversion to come back to me.....first things first!

I got one of these, same cosmetics, off craigslist a few years ago for $1000. I imagine you could sell it anywhere from a $1000 to $1200 depending on demand etc.
The chrome chassis models are sexy mofo's but tonally it's just a recto. I wouldn't automatically put it sonically above any other without playing it first. Just IMO of course.

YOu got a blackface triple F for $1000? That is a gooooood deal. Personally, I'd value Reza's amp at around $1300, even with the oddball colored tolex. A $100 more if it was black. I mean, they almost have to go for that. A blackface rev F dual goes for roughly $1200+.

My triple rev F blackface isn't a good example because mine is a Kyle Rhodes modded amp.

Ha! I've only been looking at this thread on my phone and didn't even notice the green in the pics.

As always, anything is worth what someone will pay and that always changes. Look forward to any clips you might make Reza. When I got my Rev F it was purely because I love the chrome chassis, black face look but after playing it for a short while it was just another recto (which has never been for me really) and I sold it soon after. I would get another one just for how much i like the way they look if I ever have some disposable income lying around but so many things would come first.

It's not a blackface and has no tolex. Polished/black goes for cheaper.

Last blackface F I sold was last December right before christmas for $1175.

It is my friend. There are very few of them around. I mean, when was the last time there was one for sale here in the Classifieds? I can think of two, one stock blackface a long time ago, and mine that I bought off Benduncan. It's a keeper for sure IMHO, and a nice addition to your growing collection.

The Rev are sound pretty awesome, but they're not as desirable as the earlier revisions, but people have to remember that there's not as many revisions of the Triple Rectifiers as there as the Dual Rectifiers.

With that said, the value is all in the fact that it is a blackface/chrome chassis, and the overall value will depend on the overall condition. As with anything, the longer you can wait to sell, the more you will get. I would say a good condition blackface will bring $1,500 to $1,800. If it's a little rough, I'd say you're in the $1,200 to $1,500 ball park. If it's in perfect shape, I've seen them sell around the $2K mark on multiple occasions.
