Damn, that is tight. Love the MKIV tone. You got lucky man they aren't popping up and the ones that do $$$$$$

Nothing really can do that particular chug like those Marks.
First time hearing/feeling it up close is pretty freaking awesome!

If you get tired of it I'll give you $1,400 which is maybe a few hundred over 2017 market value :)

Yeah, the Mesa market is pretty crazy right now. That’s part of the reason why I sold, and why I didn’t post it on Rigtalk at that price. Just glad we were able to work out a better deal. :thumbsup:
 
Sounds really good! I'm on my 4th Mark IV. I should've never sold the other 3, but times were different. I'm definitely staying with this one til I die.
I could never get the Axe Fx sim sound as good as the real amp by itself. I always had to add a boost or use very different settings on the sim to get it to sound decent. The real amp also has a lot more gain than the sim.

Buddy of mine gave it a toggle switch for the R2 to be a little more aggressive. He also added a variac like switch to drop the plate voltage a little for some extra feel. Nice thing is, they are removable and he didn't add any holes. I love the tweaks he added but could easily live without them on the Mark IV.
