Thanks man! Kyle is supposed to send me the demo one that he’s got going around as well so I can do some back to back comparison, clips of my EL34’s versus the 6L6 version.

It’s really good! Honestly, at Nam I had told Kyle I’d like to clean channel on the “hi” mode so much that I would buy the amp just for that. It’s just a pretty Killer f’ing Crunch channel. As I said, absolutely prefer this to my Gemini.

That's a really cool paint scheme Jer! These amps are killer, gets mean as hell with a boost and will thrash all day long.
 
Crunch and Lead 1/2 all kill for all forms of the heavy stuff. Has a nice growl/grunt to it on chuggy power chords. Very modern & pissed sounding IMO.

Yeah man, I was running through the K100 loaded cab today. I'm gonna hit it with the Friedman BE412 with GB/V30's. I bet it'll fucking rip through that.
 
Great looking amp, and I bet it sounds even better with the Early Cuyler hat. (y)

No doubt it will through the BE412! Been boosting the Orion with a Fortin TS9...mean, mean, mean. Duncan805 kills with it too. I have a couple other boosts I need to dig out and try with it.
Going on 17 years with my K100 2x12 and it's still my favorite, but been itching for some V30s to put in another cab I have.

I want to try the ST9+ and Aesahaettr with it for sure.
 
That's fucking cool, and a really decent price point. I'm still not sure where I sit with the metal headboxes though. I really kinda still prefer the wood/tolex headshells.

Yeah man I can dig that. I was actually worried I’d long-term hate the format. But honestly as soon as I saw it, and you know I have no poker face, I knew I loved it. I now have an amp that is loud enough for any venue, doesn’t NEED any boosts to get the tones I want. And it’ll fit in a carry on.

I’m sure this could retro fit into a headshell as well… if you’re handy, which you know… you are!
