I’ll start by saying things like this usually don’t work out for me. Saw it on marketplace for a good price and for once things went my way.
1982 20th Anniversary JCM 800 2210 with matching 4x12. The original G12-65’s aren’t in the cab and are long gone. Mix of G12T-75’s and Greenbacks in it now. Not a fan so I’ll be looking for 65’s or a modern day take on that speaker. Shitty cell phone clip included.

Wow congrats. Maybe a v30/cl80 x-pattern blend would do you right.

I have an 800 straight cab with 65’s and it sounds amazing with any amp.
Getting harder to find them though, but I'm sure there are still plenty in the wild. Go with what ya know I always say.

Damn! Had that same rig many moons ago & foolishly sold it.
Killer find! Congrats

Marshall was wise not to use 'White Power' in advertisements for this amp.

Even though it’s a 100 watter I think it’s pretty mandatory to bust out some 80’s Schenker licks when you get that amp. Requesting some Assault Attack.

I have a 2205 and a matching cab. I can set them up black and white just like Michael. Now to only be as good as he is.

Looks to be in great shape.
So it was built in 2002?
So it is 20 years old now and its a 20th anni so 40 years.
Damn time just flies doesn't it. Sounds great. Tubes?

A guy is selling a jcm800 bass series in SF with g12-65s for 450.

The heritage g12-65s also sound good when broken in a little.

Guys are asking crazy prices on reverb for 80s g12-65s.

Built in 1982. It has a couple Tung-Sol in the preamp and a few Marshall branded 12ax-7 and a quad of Svetlana in the power section.

I bet that sounds great . Long story short I picked up a 2205 at the Detroit guitar show in the mid 90’s for 250 that stunk was nicotine stained but really in great shape after I cleaned it . It had a quad of Svetlanas in it and it just SMOKED!! Like a dumbass I traded it for a bogner ecstasy 101b

Nothing wrong with a 101b. You could have done way worse.

Congrats!

The 2205/10s may be the most underrated Marshall. Crank the gain, ch volume and it's gold. My current one, a 1986 4211 chassis that I put upside down in a head shell, really improved when I re flowed the solder on all the pots..over time, the board exerts stress on the solder points since the pots are soldered directly to the board.
Yours may not have that issue being an 82? But if they are soldered to the board, try re heating the points...my amp got noticeably clearer sounding after.
