Played it for a good 90 minutes earlier today...and my ears are still ringing. Great amp that cleans up beautifully. This one has the powerscaling as well as the FX loop. I don't think it's EVH in a box (prefer my Cameron HG/LG Jose for that), but it is great for 80's metal and classic rock (nails all of the traditional Hiwatt tones). It's similar to a Plexi with more clarity and less bite IMO. Lugo's vids are dead on as far as who this amp sounds in the room.

Obligatory rig shot:

Paige congrats!! Thats one amp I'd love to get my hands on. Give us a clip if you get a chance.

How's the bottom end...does it stay focused?

Yup..the resonance control in the back panel allows you to dial in the bottom end feel quite nicely. Here's a quick visual I had to include ;)

I thought that the super 78 sounded great and I bet this thing is really sweet with the power scaling. My question to u is does this amp have enough gain to do 80's metal without having to use a pedal?? Can it get as dirty as say your basic 800?

Congrats Paige. I have heard some killer clips of Reeves amps.

sweet dude! you should put up some clips doing some heavier gain stuff. If I remember correctly the Lugo videos were more ACDC type tones which were awesome, I wanna hear it pretty heavy!

Called Reeves today to go over a few questions...talk about class! They gave me tips on dialing this beast in and now just flat out kills. Check out the clips on the Reeves site...that's EXACTLY how this amp sounds. Daneyo came by to check it out with his new LP and I was loving how big and clear it sounded....both boosted and un-boosted. The tube buffered FX loop on this amp is top notch as well

Hey man,

Congrats on that amp. When I first heard clips of it... I was SHOCKED. Dave Reeves really built something great here. I always liked the older HiWatts and some of the newer Reeves amps, but I never associated him with such a rippin' Brown Sound esque tone before. I definitely want to give one of these a whirl if I'm ever in an area that has one available to try. I bet it would sound awesome in stereo with that HG/LG Cameron too...
