So after a long wait (well worth it) my Rhodes Amplification Colossus H-100 has arrived! I've been waiting patiently since I played the prototype(s) last year. Kyle does some amazing work and is a great guy and definitely knows his stuff. I know we will all be hearing a lot more about his work in the future. I'm glad I got to know him early and it is cool having the first production amp of his flagship amplifier. Now I just need the rest of my rig (looper and foot controller) to get finished! The knobs will eventually be chrome, but those are backordered so the black plastic ones will have to do for now.

I'd also like to thank the great Andy Wood. He actually received my amp first (thank you stupid UPS employee) and his was on the way to me. Andy needed an amp to do a recording session and I let him use mine for a small price....a signed CD ;) Thanks Andy for taking good care of it!

Clips should be coming soon, I'm going to try and get some done at my band's studio in the coming weeks.

Now for the good stuff, pictures!

Sweet. I played one briefly at the dallas guitar show, albeit at low volume, and it was a pretty sweet sounding amp. Wish i could get to play one all out sometime.

IF mine when to Andy first that amp would be fucking pissed coming to me after he got through with it

Congrats, he really makes a nice product for a very good price

I hate you!

Congrats! It killed me to let the demo amp go. The tones have been haunting me ever since. Enjoy the amp and hopefully I can join the family sooner than later.

I'm sure it is pissed. Or maybe it's relieved as it gets to rest and doesn't have to work as hard with me playing!

I'm very glad it finally made it to you Alex, 10 days later than it should have!! I can't believe the week I had when UPS FAILED on many counts. The only thing I can say is they made it right, but at cost of a lot of stress. :(

All is right with the world though, Alex has his amp and Andy has his -- with no shipping damage! Wahoo!

Can't wait to shift gears over to the switching system stuff. I'm itching for some more surface mount work and firmware coding. :D

I would have demanded Andy send me a "disease free" t shirt instead. Seriously, congrats on what I'm sure is a phenominal amp.
