So I sold my Mark iv because I needed funds to cover my Chubtone. For some reason I wasn't expecting it until next month. So anyway I started regretting letting that amp go after a day or two. So I bought another one off of guitar center.
So the bad news. They didn't include an IEC. No biggie. I think I have some extras laying around.
Good news is it's a short head.
It's in damn good shape.
Footswitch and Reverb tank was included although I will be disconnecting the reverb tank.
They packed it nicely. The tubes were taken out and wrapped individually. The footswitch was secured to the amp.
The GEQ was turned in the off position. Once I switched it to the on position it took a second to turn on. Not sure if this is typical or a problem or a soon to be problem.
I'm going to email mesa to see if it's ever been serviced by them. It came from L.A. so if it has been serviced one would hope it was sent to mesa. If not I'm going to play it for a week or so then ship it to get serviced.
All in all I'm glad to finally have one back. It's only been two weeks but damn it was one thing I thought I would never part with. Now I have corrected that mistake. My chubtone explorer is out for delivery to my work today but had to head back home before it delivered. Oh well one new toy a day is good enough.
