Have been playing my QR today, sounds F*CKIN' amazing

No one can touch these amps in this price range. No loss of love for my Diezel's, Bogner's, or Soldano's...however, they are WAY more $$.

Splawn QR is the best amp under $2000, period. I enjoy my Mesa's too, but the QR is just so aggressive. It's a better Marshall than Marshall

So far ...

Clean channel is pretty damn good. Better than I thought it would be.

Plugged in with my Gibby V with a Duncan Custom in the bridge ... oh boy. Was not digging it at all.

Then, switched to my Mammoth Custom San Dimas with the JB in the bridge and HOLY SHIT BALLS BATMAN!!! Fucking slays! I only got about 20 minutes of play time with it but GAT DAMN I am very satisfied "buying without trying."

I have not been digging that Custom in the V so going to have to swap it out. Too damn bright in that guitar.

I'll get some clips soon for sure.

Off topic, but I had a hard time finding a pickup that I liked in my V. Ended up with a Suhr DA.
