I got one today too! Sounds absolutely fantastic. VERY punchy. I don't hear any weird mids
It loves the Bareknuckle Painkiller, Suhr Aldrich and Dimarzio Super Distortion. A little TC delay in the loop. Perfect.
I need to spend time with the clean channel even though I'm typically a one channel guy. I usually run amps with a little more than mid gain so it's very punchy and ballsy then hit it with a TS for leads. It makes it easy to roll off the volume for cleans.
Anyway, this amp is great. I'm looking forward to band practice Tuesday so I can air it out a little.
By the way, the loop seems great.

Congrats! I just got one today too! Mine looks identical to yours except mine is a 50 watt in the mid size headshell. Absolutely love it!

Congrats! Killer amp.
I'm glad mine has the half power switch. It's LOUD!

Pic of yours?

Thanks Bud!

Here's a quick (bad) pic of mine.
It's really nice and compact. It's sitting on top of my Soldano 2x12. (which is also quite compact)

I prefer to use the loop master rather than the half power switch. Easier to get great/poshed tones at low volumes IMO.

My 2006 looks identical. Im thinking about selling it since i don't play much anymore. I have a hard case for it as well.

That's very cool. Compact is good.
I have a Maxon 808 on my board as well. The Splawn certainly doesn't need a boost but man it sounds incredible with it on.

Another QR guy with a Maxon 808... Tone for daaaaays... I usually keep my presence and bass around noon, the mids way up and treble off, sounds killer

Yes! You can see I"m running the Treble all the way down in this pic too! Something magical happens there.
I don't know what it is, but it sounds awesome!

I'll have to try the treble thing. I do love the Maxon through just about anything.

The treble control, especially older models like mine, are really weird... It sounds best for what I use it for with them off and it's still plenty bright haha

Some people describe it as treble off is more "vintage" and adding treble adds more "saturation" but that's not how I'd exactly describe it... It's definitely something to mess with for QR users

Oh yeah... I'm hooked on the juicin' with the Maxon. It just adds that little bit of pixie dust. I can't NOT have it!

Hey El Mariachi how do you like that DigiTech Drop pedal ?

Hey harsh59!

PM me and I can tell you all about it.
I really like it!

I used to use the Morpheus Drop Tune. My band plays in Standard, Eb, and D. Using this type of pedal really is a life saver.

Happy to tell you about it on PM.
