NAD: Suhr Badger 35!

So...I have been waiting for this day since these were announced. I got my order in as soon as Suhr would take them and the excitement has been building slowly for me until it reached a fever pitch with the demo videos by Suhr and Pete Thorn last month. Boy this one is worth the wait. If you don't like the 18 or Badger series in general, this of course won't convert you. That said, I was a HUGE fan of the 18 and this amp does everything I loved about the 18 but also has lots of clean headroom when run in NMV mode. With the power scaling I feel like choosing the 35 over the 18 is no brainer since I can still get awesome tones at whisper volumes if necessary. But I love how this baby can get LOUD and CLEAN if I want.

With the gain set on 4, the Koko mid boost engaged, and my Pro Series S2 w/ SSV in the bridge it really is pure magic. Build quality is of course top notch as to be expected. Im in love all over again! So here are a few pics and a link to an "unboxing" gallery. This baby is serial #2! Now, Im just wondering....who got #1? :D

Dude, even that box is killer, definitely not incognito. Man, those Suhr boys know how to do it up. Sweet! Those transformers look huge too. Heyboer?
 
Thanks guys! This amp definitely sounds bigger and bolder than the 18. I'm loving it.

I can't really compare to the 30 since I only had the 18.

Not sure what the trannys are but they are pretty substantial. I seem to recall Suhr uses heyboers in the OD/PT amps but not sure about badgers. If assume so.

Yeah I know I have I dust off the cab! It's been headless for a few months since I sold my 18 after ordering this! :)

Suhr Badger's are great! Badger 30 sounds more Marshally, throatier mids I think. I also run Badger with Koko and Riot - very cool to have # 2, congratulations
