First impressions: KILLER. The tightest, most unforgiving and "in your face" amp I own. It's currently in my room but will soon be at our rehearsal space, where I'll be able to crank it :rock:

CANNOT WAIT.

It doesn't trump my Herbert in the "favourite amp ever" stakes, but man - what a great alternative flavour. Amazing amp.

Get a VHT cab, and run the master at about 3 o clock, and then come tell me it isn't ur favorite!!!!

There's something magical about them Fryette cabs. I am still in awe of my Deliverance and it's loaded with the stock P50e drivers!

run the UL with its proper cab and it shall be your favorite :D
 
Congrats man killer amp for sure it for sure is one of my all time favorites hands down. I have had a few and the UL and the CLX are awesome. A good buddy of mine has three and is always tempted to buy another that how much he loves his...
 
wow nice amp collection you have ! damn you must be super loaded lol... anyway how much you like your bogner compares to the UL ?

maybe bogner may be more saturated than the UL.. and how does the mids section is compares between ? and the treble spectrum between bogner and UL ?

Haha. Well I went a bit crazy buying gear in the last 18 months or so, but I traded an Axe-Fx 2 for thie UL and a few other bits.

The XTC 20th and the UL are apples and oranges. The VHT has a tone all of its own, very tight, dry, focused and I'm your face. The XTC is a bit more of a chameleon. It can do a LOT of tones VERY well. I'd say the Bogner is more Marshall flavoured but with emphasis on the lower mids rather than the upper mids. The UL is more modern.

The rhythm tracks on my band's new record are going to consist of Herbert-5150II-UL-XTC 20th. Should be mighty.
