Boogie Mark V, I offered 1000 and he took it !!! :lol: :LOL:

I needed another amp like I need another hole in my head, which I could go for. Extra eye or a third ear for all my amps, yeah, I could use an extra hole in my head. But not as much as an extra amp. I ordered wicker for the grills and head, I like wicker.

The TriAxis is getting it's photos taken and is on the market today, $750.00, nice unit but not my style, neither is this Mark V really. I'm a Mark IIC+/III guy.

Geezus. I was impressed with just the head for $1,000 when I saw this yesterday. Didn't know that the cabs came with it too. That is a big win!
 
I have zero need for that, but if it was local I woulda jumped on that. Holy deal there man! Great score!
 
Super score bro! That’s close to $3700 worth of gear. 2012 Mark V owner here and I love it. From where did you order the wicker?
 
Whoa that's a killer score! Looks like I need to check the Albany Craigslist as well. Haha.

I bought it on eBay from a place called furniture knowledge. It is known as "cane" not wicker. I bought the 1/2" stuff which is the proper size for Boogie grills. The trick is to put the cane in hot water for a half an hour and then to staple the cane evenly. When it dries it shrinks and tightens. It came to $70.00 for 48", $1.27 a an inch plus tax & shipping. I'll make new wooden baffles so I can save the black Jute grills as is.

It's for sale in the emporium right now and I listed it on Reverb, see it sell, it will by tomorrow. I'll make a grand or so. I sold my TriAxis that I listed yesterday so it's on it's way.

I found the Mark V to be underwhelming and I thought I could trade it for a JP2C. I had to quick sell my JP2C a couple of years ago, it makes the Mark V seem like a mild tempered amp in comparison. The JP2C I had had tons of gain, this Mark V has the least amount of gain of any Boogie I have owned although I've yet to turn it up loud or switch tubes.
 
Soooooo, tomorrow around noon I hope post a picture of NGD. Not just NGD but totally Sweet Alabama Liquid Ecstasy Unbelievable NGD!!! I have a tentative trade for just the head for a 5-star guitar!!

Wow that looks great. I've seen some where the 'cane' doesn't line up right or whatever and aesthetically it just looks off and maybe even cheap or clone like. You know what I mean?

You did a great job.

Good luck with the sale and crank that bitch up before you let her go will ya? :D
