No problem, was much better than shipping!

Maybe it's just my randall cabs! might try to trade out for some mesa or marshall cabs, plenty around!

I was considering swamp things also use to have a cab that had them paired with texas heats that I used with a JVM 410 head, didn't like the head but the cab was cool :D

seems a lot of people rave about g12-65 speakers used with the 50 watt JCM 800 too, maybe I'll grab some up
I have my 81 2204 on top of a JCM 800 cab with 65s now. Great combo, GBs are killer too. Both are WAY better than V30s w/an 800 IMO.

Damn Steve, I'm jealous as hell!
Zack, throw in 2 cremback 75's with the 30's.
I bet you loved it's!!

was also thinking of creambacks!

Had a chance to really crank the 800 with the randall XL cab, definitely not a fan of v30 with the 800 so I'll definitely be making a speaker change, so many options though!
The hunt continues

I missed my last Vht so bad I had to get another lol. Diavolos doing a ten year reunion this year and I needed something that would get brutal as well as do rock.

Also try crazy setting as well. I used angus youngs settings I saw in a video once, bass, mids, treb, all on 3! That's how I ran it in my last band. Actually I bumped mids to about 4 or five in the end, but it worked surprisingly well with that powerful of an amp.

Congrats on the amp! That isn't the D120 that was recently listed on Reverb from Johnson City, TN by chance, was it? I live in that area and came very close to contacting the seller and possibly picking it up, but restrained myself since I have a new Ceriatone JCM800/2203 on it's way to me already. I need to quit buying amps. LOL.

It was. Zach met me half way and we traded heads. I understand not buying more heads lol. I have this one for band practice and an old valvestate i use in my office at home. I have a one in one out rule now.

The Deliverance is a serious amp.

I've been using a S.A.S.with mine lately. Less setting on the amp. Using the pedal as a boost / overdrive. S.A.S is awesome for adding some rawness to a smooth amp like the Fryette.

Ended up setting the Presence at 1, bass at 6.5, mids at 3, treble just a little bit above 2 and pre-amp on 8, running an sd-1 in front and it actually sounds MUCH better with the v30 XL cab, just enough bite to cut through but not be overwhelming
Will still probably end up swapping out the speakers, but for now, it sounds awesome!

You got it. I always like pretty extreme or odd settings on marshalls. I went back and looked at a pic from may last show and they were pres4, bass3, mids6, treb3. I liked pulling my bass and treb all the way out then bringing them backup til it sounded full to me. Also I think we spoke about it. That 33 pedal looks like it would do the trick.

Definitely!
Plan to get this mod this head with the Jens Kruse V5 mod later this year, played one of his kruse kontrol mods about a year ago and was blown away by it

Until then though, I am getting a very satisfying Exodus type metal tone out of this head ( pretty much why I wanted the head for) and it delivers!

Definitely will miss the Deliverance, if I had the cash I would have both!

I had looked at that several times on Craigslist and even contacted about trading my Orange Rockerverb for it. I have always wanted to try out one of these amps, it seems that anyone that has owned one always love them! Congratulations on your new amp!

Congrats man!

I just acquired a D60 myself and am still getting to know it. This was my first venture into VHT/Fryette territory, and I'm digging it quite a bit.

Thanks dude. It's really a work of art, and an amazing amp. The only qualm I have is the 120 is stupid loud and the 60 was more manageable volume-wise, but that's not really a problem I can't deal with  I can't recommend this line of amps enough.

HNAD! The Deliverance is a great sounding versatile amp. I have a soft spot for VHT/Fryette amps. Never getting rid of my Ultra-Lead!

Thanks dude. Just took it to practice with an old metal project that were re-working, and it was the most brutal but clear metal tone I've ever had. Just crushing through the engl cabs. My d60 I only used it in more of a rock context. Not shocked but super happy with this metal tone.
