HOLY SH-- This Amp is a MONSTER!!!
I dig the voicing of the amp, allot more than the Einstein.
It has that Mid Voice Punch, that I love. The UL is Edging out my
Bogner XTC in terms of overall, Thick, Full sound. (It sounds much Bigger)
The clean channel is Fantastic, chimey & sweet
The Rhythm channel is Tight (no Flub or sag) and has probably
one of the best Lead Channels I've ever heard!!! I can't believe how
Smooth this channel Sings.....Just WOW, Ultimate Sustain and Harmonics.
The Graphic EQ is Fantastic, the tone possibilities are endless.

The VHT UL is a seriously overlooked, High Quality Tone machine
and I've owned some of the Best. I'm glad I picked VHT for my next
Whore This is a keeper, every Guitarist should have at least
one VHT in their stable.

I love the Diezel products,
the VHT's voicing will suit the band better for me.

I hear you on that. I went through the trial and error with fx. I t cost some money, but it is the only true way to see if something is right for you.

Out of all the VHT amps, the UL is the one I wouldn't mind owning. So much tweakability on it, and the graphic eq is the shit!

Ultra Leads are absolute monster amps IMHO. Definitely one of my top 2 or 3 amps of all time.

I love my VHT CLX Much like the UL the tone possibilties are endless with the eq. I don't think in all my years of playing that I have played a tighter amp. Peared up with the Diezel Herbert the two are earth shaking. Wellcome to the VHT family...

I like it
Lots of Hate for the Sonic Maximizer,
never understood it.
If you use it the right way, it's the Balls.
I use it to tighten my Signal up just a bit,
it compresses the signal and adds a little extra punch.
Less is more in this category IMO, I use just a little
that way it doesn't color my Tone.
Different strokes......Ya Know?
