It's taken me a while to come to my senses and some really frivolous amp buying to come full circle. I had a MC50 2 years ago that haunted me after I sold it. Well countless amps later, I now own a monster of an amp - the Wizard MCII 100w :rawk:
The Wizard just pushes air like no other amp I've owned - it's ridiculous. The gain control on the rhythm channel really gets into some great crunchy tones - lead channel is raw and jaw dropping. Loves boost pedals too

Awesome. The MCII is one of only a handful of amps I can think of that I'd really like to check out (that I haven't already checked out).

good one, you can have it after I sell my Triple Rec, which aint gonna happen

Very Nice, looks brand spanking new! So what kind of level of gain can one get with this amp without engaging diode clipping, or are the diodes always in effect (not switchable). I've always wondered this.

without the gain boost there's plenty of gain on tap, especially if you like boosting the front end with a pedal. the MC can go from gritty plexi crunch to all out to brutal

Man that's awesome! Is love to give a few Wizard's a go.

congrats! Did you get it from the Nashville shop? V transformer?

Scotty @ Vintage King Michigan, shipped from the shop in LA I think
yes, has the V tranny if I recall

Grats! That's the one amp I've heard live and commented that it was the best live tone I've ever heard. Bucket list amp for sure..that and a Metal.

Yeah - Wizard gas ain't no joke - I want a metal now, or even the MC25

I'd love to trade my SLO for a Wizard MC. They just sound so fat.

I was gathering some pretty hefty amps (Helios, Invader 150, Splawn) but I always had the sound in my head of what Wizards sound like and so instead of having a few good/great amps - I parted ways with them and got one of the best amps I think I may have ever bought. Stoked - gonna play it loud tomorrow

I have a serious hankering for a MC25.
I think even with that, It'd test the structural integrity of my house...which I mean, hey, who doesn't love a good remodel.

Yeah the guy @ Vintage King said it's the loudest 25w amp he's heard. I had a Suhr Badger 35 that was a big sounding amp (4 EL84), the MC25 has 6V6 so the clean is probably awesome, yet they say it sounds like the big brothers MC50 & 100

I'd like to try one for sure. And they look cute

Congrats! Great amp indeed! I miss mine and will have another and you are not helping my GAS.

I'm actually talking to Scotty right now about a Badger 30 head & cab (but I want a different speaker).
After that, I'll try to con my wife into 'letting' me get a MC25. Definitely use the "But it's so cute!" line on her

They have Wizard cabs empty and they'll load whatever speaker you want (that they have in stock)
