thank you, it's got an unexpected tone...thought it was going to be not as violent, but surprised me in a good way. grind, growl and punches you in the face...crazy loud. has the C transformers whatever that means

from what I've been told the circuits in the MTL and MC are pretty similar. If the Metal sounds more pissed off than this amp I gotta try one. The Modern Classic has an astonishing amount of air it pushes...even when not cranked to ear splitting volumes. it's attack is tight and percussive yet not sterile.

Yeah, watt for watt they are the loudest amps I've ever encountered.

I wouldn't say the Metal is necessarily more pissed off, rather its a bit tighter with a more focused mid response. Lows not quite as deep and not as many harmonics on the top end as the MC.

thanks for this info!

Unbelievably great sounding amp...And the best "Marshall" I have yet to experience (having played a ton of them)

Wow....that clip sounds great!
Can only imagine in person. ;)

Never had the pleasure of playing thru a Wizard. Heard nothing but GREAT things about these amps.

Isnt the guy that makes them one of the Techs for AC/DC?

The 100 watter almost got me divorced. She said I turned evil when I owned that amp and she called the amp evil.

Sounds fantastic. $4100 for a 50 watter though! Whew, that's some cheddar right there.

Nice Sounding Amp

That's more aggressive then I thought it would be also. Congrats on your new wall shaker

This. I expected something very different from the clip. Sounds bad ass.

Don't let the "Classic" in the Wizard MC name fool you...It does the aggressive MODERN vibe VERY well in my opinion...Just a great amp all around if your into the Marshallesque mids

looking good with oreo amps scheme

how does it sound with the evh cab?

got the cab yesterday on trade, only tested it to see if it was working...played a couple chuggs to see if cab handled low end and some open ringing chords to see how clear it was. sounds pretty good. I had been running the Uberkab and Friedman 2x12 that sounded good since Uberkab can sound a but square...the Greenbacks/Lynchbacks added a nice smoothness that's missing from the Bogner. I imagine running either head with both 4x12 it's gonna sound good.
