That's like saying a Les Paul isn't really a Gibson because Orville Gibson didn't design it (although in this case Mark did design it). Cameron Amplification is now a brand, not a person...albeit a brand built on the foundation of Mark's designs.

Thanks all, I literally had a couple of hours to try it out before going to sleep and jumping on a plane for a trip.

Returning tomorrow and hopefully can play around with it some more...no clue what the two switches do other than when the one on the left is flicked all the way to the left, there is an ungodly amount of gain coming out of this thing. I think the atomica has the same switch, didn't touch the one on the right at all. The amp also didn't come with a manual so it's all just flicking switches and listening!!

One thing that made me real giddy: when playing high speed licks the notes are really chewy (reminded me of cheese melting off of a grilled cheese sandwich hahahah)

Really glad I picked this up, I hope the others who received theirs will chime in as well

Hey man, for what it's worth, I was at tone merchants a week ago and had the opportunity to plug into the CCV they had there. That thing is killer, if I didn't have a mark v and a be-100, I'd totally get one of those. Your wait time has been crazy but if you like how the OB sounded, you're gonna love the CCV!!!

Guys I can't even begin to tell you how stoked I am about these two amps. I'm no amp snob but the quality of the build and the clarity of the sound are superb!!
