Hi ,newbie here!Mr Postman brought me a beautiful Rebel20 this morning!For me,it's an introduction to the Egnater sound.I always dreamed about a Mod50 but couldn't find one to try in Belgium (no Rebel either )..I just played the Rebel for 5/10 min.with my PRS SC and my old Marshall 4x12 but the cleans were sweet & sexy !If you have good suggestions/settings to get some smooth-liquid singing lead tones at moderate level,you're welcome Now,i'm going back to play the hell out of this Rebel NB:I don't have my own pics yet but it's so pretty it needs to be posted

Thanks!The amp is fine but i have a problem with the effects loop !I tried it with a Lexicon MX200 (i use it everyday in my M&B's loop) and there is a big buzz,even with the Master on 0 !No sound but the buzz.. What's happening?

My guess is a bad loop tube- Probably a 12AX7. Do you have an extra to pop in and try?

I do have some spares(JJ 12AX7's etc.) but i don't think it's a bad tube.I tried a BOSS RDD-10 (half-rack) in the Loop and the hum was still there at -10DBv but,when i switched to -20 DBv ,it was already better and ,this time,i was able to play..My Rebel could be one of the early models.I sent a Email to Egnater (John) and i'm waiting for the answer.

Somebody told me if there wasn't a marker drawn "m" on the serial number patch ,than it's a early model without the effect loop mod .Is it true?I hope John Ewing is not on holiday with Jeff ...
