Nards. Tards. Im retarded. Please dont be offended by my rude vocabulary. Just wanted to share my insanity with the forum bros. As a couple of you may know I took a long break from music and had sold everything. Didn't even own a guitar and I've played for over 25 years, some of which were religiously.
When my account was hacked I got on to square that away and started getting the itch, reading about all the gear again made me weak. F.U. hackers. So if all goes well I will have some crazy (for me) NAD posts to share soon.
They havent been delivered yet but on the way:
I did just buy that Caparison and also been playing drums a bit so I got this great sounding snare and a good throne. But anyway the amps:
Peavey Ultra 120 - kind of just had to when I saw it. Cheap and well, you know what it is.
Origin 50 is on the way - you all know what is going to happen here.
Fortin Cali - not sure what I was thinking. Idk if I even like this amp haha. I've been seeing them pop up for sale recently and one guy on FB had a pretty decent price, talked to him a bit, he budged a little and I accepted what I consider a fair deal on a pricey amp that I hopefully love.
Pretty stoked to get these and damnit I need to decide on a cab.
All while waiting for the new Uberschall to be announced. I fully planned to wait for that but now I am unsure about the Uber.
One additional/final amp I am 100% certain on however is the Monomyth line. Guessing from the picture it may be called the skeleton key? Not sure but thats a cool name so hopefully. Anyway the Origin mod clips ive heard from Shea and from some buyers were just fucking mean and nasty. If my ears are still trustworthy that will be a keeper but....the prototype video on YouTube of what the base of the Monomyth amp will be based from......that is THE TONE so I am definitely buying that without a doubt. May end up selling something in the future but this should be a fun week coming up when I get these.
