Been sayin I wanted a bass for a long time and I finally splurged and bought this for $129 'new' off of CL. There is no brand, the guy said it's from China and he is a 'guitar tech' and he set it up. The pickups were out of phase and the wiring was wrong. The neck was raw (and very pale) but I gave it a quick Danish oil followed by TruOil treatment. The neck angle was way flat, action was >3.5mm and the neck pocket was full of sawdust. But the neck pocket is a perfect snug fit. I fixed everything and set it up except for nut. I don't have those files but it's way high. Can't really go wrong for $129 and local pickup.
