I think there's going to be good and bad within any brand/model. I'll never buy another guitar without playing a bunch of the same first.

True, although with Anderson, Suhr, Tyler, Melancon, etc, you know you're getting quality. You just have to hope the thing sounds good when you play it.
I'll be honest here when I say this though. This LP just smokes an Anderson Bulldog I recently owned. I wanted to like the Bulldog but the tone and feel just wasn't there. The guy I sold the Bulldog to.........he sold it 2 days after he got it from me. I lost some money on it but I wish I could have played it first. I kinda liked it at first but after playing some LP's why settle. Whether or not it's the bolt-on design of the Bulldog? I don't know.
