Got my Wizard cab and loaded it up with Creamback 65's on the top, and Creamback 75's on the bottom.
Cab construction is stellar! Tolex work is top notch.
I installed a set of 3" mesa track-loc casters, because it weighs a ton. These casters are awesome!
The tone of the cab is monstrous. Im digging this speaker combo. I think the Creams work very well with the MTL. I was using all V30's before. The overall tone seems more balanced, not as peaky.
The speakers are new, so they are begging for a good Wizard pummeling!
I can definitely tell the difference btw this cab and the polyfill lined Bogner. The Bogner is more focused and dry. The Wizard is more alive.
Also pictured is my matching FX board! NYC cases did an awesome job, extremely well built!
Good times!!

Good looking cab! Is there a reason you installed the tracks for the casters so the opening faces forward as opposed to the standard sideways mount that I’m used to seeing?

Haha, I didnt realize that! I just looked at my Bogner 4x12, and it has the tracks mounted facing forward. So I installed them the same way. The casters didnt come with a mounting diagram.

It’s been a while but I’m pretty sure my old Mesa cab had them mounted sideways but my brain is pretty much jello from taking care of the kids all day so who knows anymore.  Regardless that’s a badass cab man!

Looks totally badass. How are you liking the boss ms3? I've been looking at one for a backup to my fx8.

Thanks! I like the MS3 a lot. Its a powerful little pedal. They crammed in a lot of great features. I was used to the GT10, so the MS3 suits my needs perfectly.

Update...I took the Wizard rig out with the band last night. I absolutely love this speaker combination. Both for clean and high gain. The Creamback mix delivers. Everything was crisp and clear. No unpleasant frequencies. Big full lows from the 75s and delicious mids from the 65s.
This cab filled the room. It didn't seem as directional or "beamy" as other cabs Ive played, so that was a bonus.
And the MTL absolutely crushed it. At home, I would often switch the lead channel boost on/off...but live, I was quite happy with it off. Having the gain and saturation set at about 5, was a perfect balance of gain and sustain. My lead channel master was at about 2 for most of the night, and that was pushing some nice air! Id hit the lead boost only a few times. I also Love the clean channel! Im still surprised at how amazing and balanced the clean channel sounds, even though it shares eq with the lead. This isn't one of those high gain amps that has a meh clean channel that makes you say..."you buy this amp for the gain channel"... These are gorgeous cleans!
Anyway...Im super stoked on this rig.

-beautiful rig man...-
-But!!.. Dont Forget that you have a responsibility,... owning a WIZARD is like owning a ROTTWEILER -(a GERMAN MALE with his BALLS INTACT)-
-Saftey First-
-socialize & obedience classes are mandatory, they know they're superior and can be real assholes
-they must be on a leash, caged or refined for the publics saftey.

-NEVER!!.. EVER!!!... LOOK A WIZARD DIRECTLY IN THE EYE!!!!-
